Bonner approves ‘Vision 2025’ plan
That evening, the unified government proposed a final draft for the Kansas City, Kan., Master Plan, the city of Bonn Springs approved its own comprehensive plan.
The city of Bonn Springs Council unanimously approved the project entitled “Vision 2025″, after months of planning work in the city and people of Communication, in collaboration with Bucher, Willis & Ratliff Corporation - the company from the city for the development of the plan.
Planning for the “Vision 2025″ began in May 2007 and an update to the city for a comprehensive plan in 1987. During the planning phase, Bonner residents were invited to meetings of the workshop on the theme “Vision 2025″, to communicate, as well as issues of interested parties about the city’s future. Residents restricted the discussion around seven core themes - environmental management, land use and development, parks and recreation, economic development, housing and development, the improvement of urban infrastructure and the maintenance of public participation in the planning process and the city.
